Well, As the title says, dh & I went br on 11th November...our new life has now begun.
The simple pleasure of not being afraid to answer the telephone or shudder at knocks on the door is undescribeable (as most of you will understand!!)
I was dreading the day so much but was so relieved when it all finally happened. Had a few probs with the judge as he seemed to be trying to provoke me into loosing my cool but after i'd very sternly stated..'look there is no way i can pay this back..' he changed his tune completely and had a little joke with us!! totally contradicting what he'd said before!
The OR called yesterday and was the nicest lady i've ever dealt with, she explained that they are not all stiffs in suits there to take your things away but are human too!! after about an hours convo with dh & I she agreed no IPA and 99.9% sure we can keep car - the only stumbling point is that its insured in my name for the cheaper insurance (i used to work for the insurer and get a cheaper deal) but is dh's car and i dont need to keep it for school runs but he needs it for work. She said that we will hear on this by monday so keeping fingers crossed....
Good luck for all those going for it...and if anyones heading for croydon county court i hope you've been as lucky as we have people wise!

Glad it went well for you. When mine happened in July, the car was my husbands but I insured it - we still have the car as the registration documents are all in his name. We had the same thing - it was cheaper for me to insure. Hope everything works out ok0
