    was your order saying on special order with suppliers before you received the email? and what's its status now?

    Fair enough if the code usage was restricted I suppose.

    Processing order is the status.
    I have phoned the head office and they wont budge, and seeing as they are more expensive than elsewhere no reason to buy from them.

    thanks for the reply, some seem to have gone through to the "on special order". Only a guess, but this kind of thing (refusing orders manually) is a bit of a pain, if the account was new yesterday and an order placed maybe they've focused on these accounts first (or only).

    I'm wishing I placed that Argos order last week now!
  • I only went for it due to the discount, I will just wait till they come into the shops now, but not from HMV.
  • My order status is currently at 'all items have been placed on special order with our suppliers' and I have not received an email as yet from HMV, will sit and wait for it now.

    I did however set up another HMV account today in my partners name to order a couple of DVD's and they have been processed and dispatched using the discount code, granted this was for a relatively low value in comparison with the Xbox discount.
  • Getting my XBOX on the 4th or 5th from Argos hopefully, so no money for HMV.
  • knew you were still bothered about getting one at normal price ... I'm still looking. Was the one form Argos as premium or a core, I rang this morning to no avail.
