Right as the dry cleaners did not make a good job of it last time and it was getting really dirty i needed to do something and what happened i tried washing it in the bath, was not a good idea the red has run into the white parts of the jacket, now if i had done this in the washing machine im sure it would have been much worse but its still bad enough right now.
I still like the jacket and want to know if there is anyway i can sort out the damage i have done to it by letting the red colours run onto the white,i just wish i had not touched it now but it needed a very good clean and i had to try something, have i now damaged a jacket or can i still fix it?

ok, it prob wouldnt have turned out so bad in the washing machine, as you would have used more water, and it wouldnt have sat still in the water either. also if you had used a colour run catcher, it would have diluted the effect even more

one option you have now, is to try a colour run remover, but this may also strip part of the darker colours too. or another option would be to choose a colour that you could dye the jacket, so the main part isnt white any more. however this might affect all white parts on the jacket, again, depending on their fabric content

if the colour has run so much that you feel it is ruined, then dyeing it might be the only option to try and still get something decent from the jacket
