Hi. Sink or swim. Congratulations on your Lightbulb moment. Do you think you could post in another thread as this one if for fluff. You will then get personalised help and you can have your own record of your journey. When you are logged in and on the DFW board look under thread tools - or something like that and it says start new thread.
P.S I am sure someone clever might be able to move your posts for you if you can't start a new thread.
Thanks

100 Day challenge / DFW Nerd No 1084: AMAZED TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS!! :j0 -
Hi Fluff, i found myself in the same boat, i lost my job, ended up on benefits and had 9 different creditors too still pay. I rung them and only 2 of them were prepared to help me, credit card companies were awful, phoning me every day and sending letters every week, i didnt know where too turn. I phoned cccs and they were very good, we went through everything and now they pay my creditors for me. i still get letters now and again from my creditors and when i do get a phone call i tell them that the cccs is dealing with my debts and put the phone down. My debts only came too £4000 but now i feel i can sleep at night. I am glad too hear you are doing something as you will be able too sleep too. I dont know whether you can claim your charges back while going through the cccs it might be worth looking into as i know they were really stinging me with late chargers ect thats what got me into more debt. let me know how you get on, i would be interested too know if you can claim your charges back because i will have ago myself. sez0
