    google on CV examples
After the uprising of the 17th June The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier In that case for the government
    To dissolve the people
    And elect another?

Firstly, make sure your CV is no longer than two pages and that it is presented nicely – use fonts which are clear and easy to read, e.g., Arial, and separate sections with clear headings. ALWAYS check your spelling and grammar, and if those are not your strong points, get someone else to proof-read it for you.

In terms of the actual information, put your name, address and contact details at the top of the page – there is no need to use the heading of CV or resume or similar as it's pretty self-explanatory that that's what it is. Age, date of birth and marital status are not required.

After that put a brief personal statement or profile summarising your key skills and experience and perhaps concluding with an "ideally seeking a role in/as..." bit. Make sure your profile is personal to you – DON'T just copy and paste bits from sample CVs you've found online as employers can spot standardised bullsh*t a mile off!

Underneath that put your employment history, starting with the most recent position first. Make sure that you give enough info about this job – there's nothing worse than reading a list of words such as customer service, answering phones, dealing with the mail etc. Expand on at least a couple of points!

After employment, put your education details, again in the order of most recent first. If you have done any evening classes/courses or short courses that you have been sent on by your employers, e.g., First Aid etc, these can go in here as well.

Below that I like to bullet point my key skills – both in terms of the software I use, and management/leadership skills. If you want to mention holding a full driving licence, you could also stick that in here.

I then include a small section on my interests. If your CV is of equal merit to that of another candidate, having an insight into the kind of person you are, may just swing it for you. If nothing else, it may help to break the ice in interviews.

It's a PDF document, do you have a PDF-reader like Adobe installed. See also:

You could include this under skills, be prepared to provide examples.
Would i include my goal ?
I think it's good to include a career goal as it shows the employer why you want that job and that you're serious about developing yourself in that area.

If it's in the description then I think it's a good idea to provide this example on your CV as it's more evidence to show you fit the job description. You could write this under skills on your CV and/or your covering letter.

  • weren't the answers you got in your other thread good enough then?

thought your friend who is in recruitment was going to help you?

i'll reiterate that as a professional recruiter, personal statements (particularly those re-hashed from the advert) are a massive no-no.

That's what the interview is for.

Putting it on the cv is a bad idea.
