Hi people
Not sure if anyone can help but will ask anyway.
In Oct 06 i started a DMP with CCCS and am still paying into this, however, i now live in OZ, and have just got a job doing what i have wanted to do for the last ten years, which is great apart from the money as I will be starting on a traineeship and will be earning min wage. This will mean my earnings more than half and I will not be able to afford the amount I currently pay for the next 3 years.
Does anyone know if I will b able to bnkrupt from outside the UK or do I have to be back in the UK to file for B/R?
Thanks in advance

i dont think UK BR has extradition requirements0 -
I take it all your debts are back here in the UK?
You will have to either come back to the UK to file for bankruptcy at the High Court in London, or appoint someone power of attorney to appear on your behalf. You will then have to make yourself available for an interview with the official receiver by phone.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
yep all my debts are in the Uk. thanks for the info0
