L & G Group Stakeholder Pension Fund Help

I have changed to a new employer October this year. They run a Group Stakeholder scheme which they pay in 8% and I opted for 3% for now.

I have asked to speak to an advisor hooked up with the company, but to date I am still waiting.

As I really did not know what to choose, I opted for the 'default' fund on the paperwork that was given to me when I joined by HR.

Paper work has arrived from L&G today, and it says I am paying in 100% to L&G UK Equity Index L/S. Now I know from my limited knowledge that this is not good.

I have tried to find out what I can on line but seem to be struggling. What are my choices and what would be as adviseable split?

I really would appreciate some guideance here or points in the right direction.

I am paying in 100% to L&G UK Equity Index L/S. Now I know from my limited knowledge that this is not good.

Why do you think that is not good?

It's certainly not what an experienced investor would do but for a simple choice you could do a lot worse. The lifestyling bit is important for a lazy investor.
What are my choices and what would be as adviseable split?

Depends on your risk profile and your ability to understand investments and keep it under review.
