Cawl Recipe Please

Right I have lived in wales for around 30 years and I love real cawl...but..
The only recipe i have is my mums which is naff.....(sorry mum but your english and its just not the same):o
So if your around 60 ish have lived in wales from the day you were born and was brought up on a farm and have eaten proper cawl since birth...and then have used it to feed 50 hungry workers when the Hay needs bringing in and again when the turkeys are done..

I'd never heard of cawl so looked it up on google and there are lots of links to traditional recipes posted by Welsh people. It sounds delicious and I think I might give it a go.

Cawl is a fantastic dish, even better if you thinly slice cheese over the top and let it melt into the food. My gran used to make it for my cousin and his school friends during winter, they called it 'stick to the ribs'. I'll see if I can get my mums recipe, although I don't think its written down anywhere.0
