Morrisons £20 off xmas shop

Anyone else doing this?? I shop at Morrisons cos its the only supermarket in my town, well besides the cheaper shops (Aldi & Netto) and then the bit extreme of Waitrose.

I think its a fab idea. I don't have family here cos im from Australia and we usually got to my OH's parents for xmas dinner, but they put a dampen on it this year with saying they're not doing xmas dinner and that they're going out for a meal instead, which shocked me a bit cos my OH is an only child and i sorta then expected an invite.

So after my initial disappointment at them not wanting to see us on xmas day i was like, right xmas is cancelled. But now this morrisons thing has lifted my spirits.

We'll have our own xmas dinner, just the 2 of us and try and get it all for £20. (You have to spend £40, but then £20 will be taken off)

You have to spend £40 four times in the next four weeks (it was five weeks starting last week). We're doing it, it doesn't make much difference to us going just to morrisons instead of there and asda.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Your till receipts are marked at the top week 1 / 2 / 3 and four so make sure you time your shops right.
  • We're doing this, luckily my brother works there so I do my shopping with my mum there most weeks to get the staff discount too. Got my first receipt today, will be good to have the £20 cos we're now doing xmas dinner for mil and fil.

So can you only have one receipt per week then?

I get the discount too, because of my mum. The £40 is before the discount, which makes it even better!

Check your receipt it will have "week 1" above £20 off your Christmas shop.

If like me and the wife you do 2 shops a week then 2 seperate wallets can be submitted to gain the vouchers , just don't submit them in the same wallet and do it seperatly. :)
  • Sorry forgot to mention about spending £40 per week for 4 weeks, naturally assumed those who are doing it, would know that. I did my shopping yesterday, week 1 ends tomorrow.

Yep its got to be 1 receipt per week and im affraid simmy you can't do that, it says on the back of the collector card that only 1 card per household, how they keep a check on that i don't know.

Also be careful about what is excluded from the shopping: cash back, tobacco, saver stamps, gift vouchers, lottery on-line games and instant tickets, top up mobile phone cards, E top-up, perscription medicines, dry cleaning, petrol stations, cigarette kiosk and cafe purchases.
