Hey techies!
I've just moved into a new place and need to upgrade/buy lots of new appliances and equipment (great time for moving with the Jan sales in full swing!).
I want to get a new TV for the bedroom, nothing too swanky but I'm thinking an LCD TV as they're small and seem to be the way to go. I don't really mind on size and am not brand conscious so any ideas would be gratefully received.
Can anyone help me with suggestions of where to get a real MSE bargain?
Cheers-
Catherine

Depending on the size you want and if you want it to have Freeview built in - this makes it a little future proof.
Heres what I am considering for my Bedroom - 17 inch widescreen.
Toshiba 17inch - £449
Humax 17inch - £399 - 5 Year Guarantee
Wharfdale 20 inch - £379.99
The Humax is available in currys but without the 5 year guarantee. All these TV's have built in freeview.

Hi
Also consider High Defination TV, thats the new one to look out for when buying.
Hope this helps0 -
The problem with HD is that the standards have not been set in stone yet for the UK -- I'd be very hesitant to spend too much just yet on an "HD-ready" set.
It's only a small set for the bedroom anyway. Plenty of 17" and 20" TVs available for about £200. Personally I wouldn't spend any more than that, you can get a freeview box for £25 that'll sit snugly beside or even under the TV.0
