Excuse for hijacking the thread but for all the coupon users on here, Haagen Daz and Betty Crocker moc's have been blocked at the tills from today in Tesco following an invesigation by Haagen Daz.

No need to buy Haagen Daz.They can stay back in the Supermarkets freezers.

I am not buying that anymore.I will have to do with Tescos vanilla, a bit of tesco value jam,Tesco value chocolate and will taste better than the Haagen Daz crap!

    Hi Everyone

    Sorry about the ...

£1 OFF OK! Hot Stars & OK! USA Magazines - Buy it for 95p
    Valid until Monday 17th November

... you can tell the last time I used one of these coupons for its intended purpose - the Mag WAS £1.95 - GLAD that it is £2.95 for this offer which makes the MOC a great £2. If the usual trend is followed this £2 MOC will be in both The Star and The Express not only tomorrow ("expensive" Sunday) but also the day after ("cheapest" Monday) which will have them on offer for just 20p each !!! :)

Right a few odds and sods

Inside tomorrows mail is Oliver DVD

    Just to clarify

    This isn't a DVD but a CD - It's not the film - it's just the Soundtrack

I was led to believe that the Whittard truffles from the Daily Telegraph are valid until Monday 17th which is why I bought the paper - now the voucher says redeemable Saturday and Sunday only! I have a Whittard near work which is also the nearest to home but closed on weekends so I planned to go on Monday from work! Is there anywhere written that it was to be Monday as well, cause then I could at least try on Monday? I really don't fancy going all the way into Central London, spending hours avoiding the DLR and tubes on maintenance works this weekend.

The offer IS on until Monday 17th - if the coupon says otherwise (I've not seen it) this might help.
The online offer page from the Telegraph >> http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sponsored/3378481/Free-Truffles-For-Every-Reader-Worth-5.50.html

    DAILY MIRROR

FREE - PETROL & DIESEL - £2 OFF when you buy 30 litres at SHELL

    <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

ALSO works with LPG - I got 30 litres earlier and got £2 off a bill of just £14.

    The voucher actually says

"This voucher entitles the bearer to a discount of £2 off the purchase of 30 litres or more of ANY Shell fuel"

Having seen this I was prepared to argue the point so I just put 30l of LPG in before they could say no, but as it turned out no issue at all.

Got 3 coupons so another 30l on Sunday & Monday :)

    DAILY STAR

FREE - RUSTLERS BURGER - "MIGHTY ANGUS" - Worth £1.99 - Coupon redemption "at your local shop" - PAGE 24

    <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Anyone have much success with the old ANGUS ?
Whilst out and about I tried 2 Co-ops, 2 Tescos, a Morrisons, 5 Somerfields and an ASDA.
ASDA don't do Rustlers at all, the others do in various limited product offerings with only the largest Somerfield EVER having sold "The Angus" at all and they were out of stock - hadn't had any on the shelves in days.
As I'd got 6 vouchers I was a little "peeved".
Fortunately the Somerfield that had the Angus SEL was "understanding" and since I did them a favour (found 2 other Rustlers with a sell by/best before date of 3rd Nov  - just 12 days too late) they allowed me to take quarter pounders and "The Big One" varieties instead

FREE - BOOK - "IMAGINE THIS" - Coupon redemption at BORDERS

    <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Imagine This, a new musical set in Poland during the Second World War, is to have its West End premiere at the New London theatre on 19 November.

Set in Poland in 1942, Imagine This centres on a group of actors in the Warsaw Ghetto who stage plays to inspire hope and optimism within their community. However, with rumours of the Final Solution in the air, their play merges with the reality they are trying to escape, and a dramatic love story unfolds.

Except my Borders has never heard of it, and finds it strange that there's an offer when the book isn't on their system. An author/Isbn would be good... And the idiot that I am, only kept the bottom coupon bit of the voucher, not the one with the picture of the book on it.

ALSO anyone who wants a copy, and didn't buy the Independent over the weekend, can just print out this .pdf and take it to any BORDERS or BOOKS etc. to claim one.
