I got the £7.49 one, but haven't used it yet, but a friend picked up the £9.99 one and says its brilliant - that's just his opinion though!

I tried to swap but local tesco had run out of the the £9.99 ones.

  • I prefer the cheap ones myself, i only use it on the bus to and from work and i wouldnt wnt to damage/break something like an ipod etc. Also if they do get stolen or broken they are cheap/easy to replace :).

My first one cost me £25 (when they first came out) and lasted till october this year (over 1 and a half years) so i brought another one (£25 but with higer memory) but one of the buttons got stuck so had to have that one refunded.

So have just brought another one (a little more expensive at £50) with 1gb memory and its the same manufacter as the first mp3 player i had, so fingers crossed it will last a long time :).

having worked in an elec retailer ive noticed the cheaper ones do have a tendency to break (the scrolling buttons in particular) but it will have a 12mth guarentee so as long as you keep your receipt you will have a years worth of listening.
