I Have £50 of Argos Vouchers to spend, do other stores accept their vouchers?

ie Homebase which is part of the same company?...I had set my heart on a iriver ifp-790 which Argos have for only £39.99, but have done a product search in about 20 stores and appears to be sold out. Would like to know what else I could use the vouchers for, if possible. (Just stumbled upon this site and very impressed very good tips i must say)

Homebase don't accept Argos vouchers (well the didn't a few months ago when I tried the same thing), despite being the same company and despite their online site being "Argos in disguise".

Thanks for looking, I live in Harrow, but apparantly they were sold out all over London...finally got one elsewhere and its a good machine...And yep that Homebase site is Argos very thinly disguised isnt it.
