£50 amazon voucher from Qype

Hello Hinchcliffe,

Thanks for answering all of our questions.
Can I ask about the length of the reviews - I try and write long ones but some are still under 100 words... all of my reviews are at least 3 sentences though. Are these going to be OK?

emmahip: we were close to the 500 voucher ceiling and that's why we've extended the promotion, so there's now double the amount of vouchers available. Once we get close to the new amount we'll let everyoen know.

emma_libertine: three sentences/100 words is a rule of thumb. Really it's just common sense. So three sentences such as 'Great Shop. Nice staff. Low prices.' isn't going to cut it. But something which gives a useful and accurate account of a place but is only 60 words will. Hope that helps.

I have tried to make all of my reviews helpful and accurate, but I was finding it a challenge to write huge amounts for some (like the local chippy!).
I hope we haven't given you guys too much work to do with all these vouchers and packs to organise!

I think I can probably speak for almost everyone when I say thanks for this promotion - it's going to help with Christmas a huge amount, and I think some of us have really enjoyed writing the reviews too thanks!

Im confused. Where does it say anything about a limit on the vouchers? It says this on the terms and conditions:

The Promotional Period is 14/11/2008 to 30/11/2008 and will close at midnight on 30/11/2008. Every person who has met the criteria of writing 50 qualifying reviews will be sent a confirmation email. Those who do not receive a confirmation may send an enquiry email to [EMAIL="feedback@qype.com"]feedback@qype.com[/EMAIL] with the word ‘amazon’ in the subject line

I have still not rcvd any confirmation that I have met the criteria does this mean I am not entitled to one.

Please let me know so that I can do anything that still needs doing.

whoooo in a qype ninja now and ive done my 50 reviews. got an email saying as long as i met the requirements and have uploaded a profile pic i'll get my £50. I didnt know you had to upload a pic so i did it after i got the email. Hopefully it wont be too late. Ive dont 60 reviews so im hoping i would have done enough

spora - we just added the profile pic thing today. We just had an awful lot of users on the site with no profile image which looked a bit strange. It won't stop you getting your voucher if you don't have a pic but you'd be doing us a favour if you uploaded one to your profile

Well I just got my email to say i completed the amazon challenge :T did not relailize you had to uploaded a photo...does it have to be a photo of yourself? ...Don't want to scare anyone:p
Half way to been a fully fledged Ninja...Had to yell at the hubby to stop shouting pubs at me to review if I had followed his advice anyone reading my reviews would think my life is one big Pub Crawl:rolleyes:
