Green Flags flying over schools

Anybody know what those Green Flags are that I see flying over so many schools in Scotland? They're solid green with what looks like a tree in a circle in the middle.

These green flags represent lots of hard work done by the school pupils such as recycling, energy saving, looking after the environment and is an Eco Schools Award. There are three categories, green being the ultimate award.
