in a bit of a muddle can anyone help??

i have a query about my credit file which is:

i have a default from a bank which says satisfied. i believe this debt was passed on to a debt recovery agency.

does "satisfied" mean the debt recovery agency have payed the bank?

why does the outstanding balance to the debt recovery agency not appear on my credit file?

the details i have are:

Company name:BANK OF SCOTLAND

Account type:Unsecured loan (personal loans etc)

Started:10/10/2002Default Balance:£6,153Current

Balance:Satisfied

Defaulted On:06/05/2004

File Updated for the Period to:27/06/2004

Status history:
[] brackets indicate most recent months status [ hist_8.jpg</IMG> ] What's this? Note: A defaulted account is removed from your report after six years whether or not you have paid the debt in full. If you have paid some of the debt off, the balance should show how much you still owe.

thanks ever so much for your help

not sure of the answer myself, but I'm sure there'll be someone along shortly that knows the answer
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

8 means that you had not paid for 8 months. It is the maximum number of missed payments you can get recorded.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
