Get two copies of your wedding certificate, that way if you lose one you'll have another without needing to phone abroad.

as been said you cant get married in the Maldives...how about mauritius we can highly recomend as perfect... our's cost just under 4,000, for 2 weeks AI including the wedding,a cheap price for no hassles, tho how about right here??? the scilly isles half the price of heading abroad with all the feel of a sub tropical island, white sands, clear blue sea's, palm tree's its fantastic in the summer, are you planning on taking anyone with you? or just you and h2b?? a few downsides to going abroad is the long haul flight its always a killer and your wedding is in the lap of the hotel wedding organizer...lol...tho that was great for me coz im lazy...lol..big hugs and best wishes lalalady bird x

We got married in St Lucia nearly 20 years ago. It wasn't a package deal as we wanted it in a church and that made things a bit more complicated, but would thoroughly recommend it. Make sure all the legal stuff is done well in advance. No family squable's no-one telling you what to do. We asked the couple in the next apartment be 'best man' etc... Make sure you have a good photographer and maybe a video. Expensive but priceless when you want to look back at the memories. Good luck x
