Still no IPA after seven months

Hi all,
Myself and better half both went Bk on 3rd April 2008 in Bournemouth. We had been in an IVA paying £800.00 per month, but could not manage.
Had our telephone interviews a few days later and were told to expect an IPA of about £500.00 per month.
Neither of us have heard another thing!! We have not gone on to nil tax codes or recieved any documentation about anything.
Has anyone else not heard anything after seven months??????

Wow, they must be busy, I think its true that if you dont hear anything by your 12mnths then they cant give you one! (someone might out me right though) x0

It can take a while to get sorted, but not that long normaly

But if they dont get one set up before you are discharged whether it be early or automatic after 12 months, then its tough, they cant impose one after.
But on the downside it would run for 36 months from when it starts if they manage to get it arranged before.
One thing i would say though, if they do get round to it before discharge, i would insist they reduce the amount to take account of the increas in cost of living, unless your lucky enough that your income has kept up with that increase.Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….

Lets hope we do not hear anything for four months and three weeks then.
Highley unlikely but maybee the file has disappeared!0 -
Might be sooner, have you checked the IS register, you never know you may have got early discharge by mistake before it was set up

Ok unlikely:rolleyes: , but i would still have a look just to be sure:pThats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….

Hi all,
we went bankrupt on 3/4/08. Had telephone interview on 16/04/08.
OR stated that we would have to pay an IPA but we have heard nothing since.
Should we contact him or just wait?
I have also read on here about nil tax codes. Can someone please explain what these are for?
