got an email an hour ago.i've chopped it down a bit

Unfortunately, the information you have been provided with has not made
it clear that we are only able to supply our water saving products to
customers within our area of supply.

Therefore, if you are not a customer of Essex and Suffolk Water we will
not be able to provide you with the products you have requested.

We have contacted the external source involved to ask them to amend the
information it is publishing and will also be ensuring that our own
website clearly states that the offer is only available to our
customers.

well, it does make sense to be a local offer, BUT it didnt say it on the application page... so i applied, and then got a rather rude email. humph. i was only trying to do my bit for the environment!

Sorry for posting this now but it was origionally for everybody everywhere but there's probably been far too many applications in the last few days so it looks like they have changed their website it didn't say essex only before , but never mind nothing lost
