financial disassociation

hey guys, do you know if this lasts forever? i applied to be disassociated from my parents back in 2003 when i still lived with them. i'm planning on moving back home will i need to do it again? hope this makes sense! i don't want my crappy credit to affect them.

    Unless you have joint financial products with them your credit wont affect them.
    Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    thank you. it was natwest who told me to do it in 2003, i was declined for a current account due to something showing on my file of my mum's.
