Buggy Board

As our second child has just arrived my wife would like a buggy board. Any suggestions as to where I can find a good value, safe, cheap buggy board?

many thanks

After doing some research, I ended up getting a buggy board from Ebay for around £25; I was not prepared to pay full shop price for a brand new one. The board has been absolutely fine :)

The larger Tesco stores stock buggy boards so you can use coupon to reduce the 45 quid price tag
  • My few local Tescos had these reduced a while ago.

i got a kiddy board from ebay for about a tenner rather than £45 new, def worth trying there
    Money's too tight to mention!!!
  • If you get them from ebay, what about the bit of "sandpaper" that you have to stick onto the buggy to make it grip properly? Do you get that as well?
  • Hi purplepurple

Having sold a buggy board a few weeks ago on EBay I was amazed at the lack of discrimination bidders seemed to have. My buggy board had the new universal style fixings and was boxed in almost mint condition as my daughter would not even stand on it. I had not even put the gripper strips on as there seemed no point. Yet the winning bid was only around the same as the old style very used looking examples were fetching. My advice would be to hold out for a newor almost new model with the new style fixings, strap and to ask for a photo of the underside which will show wear on the wheels etc. There are always plenty available as this is very much an item needed in the short term and toddlers either seem to love or hate them. My daughter would not contemplate it yet I have seen HUGE children happily on board - cannot be good for the suspension! Also first class postage will genuinely be around the £8 mark. Hope this helps.
  • We got our buggyboard from Boots. We ended up paying around £25 because of discount codes, extra points etc.
