Why isn't ticketmaster working for me?

I've not been able to get on www.ticketmaster.co.uk since about 10am when suddenly it wouldn't load. I know that other people have had the same problem as they have posted on hotdeals about it, yet others can get on it ok!

My next door neighbour can get on it and we're both on virgin media, yet I still can't! I've also got a laptop and it won't load on that either, I've tried Firefox and Opera to no avail and I've also unplugged everything to refresh the settings but still no luck. :mad:

Is anyone else having trouble or has any idea what the problem could be?

Kind of found out what the problem is.

When I put the internet connection straight into the PC instead of going through the router I can access ticketmaster, but as soon as I set the router up again I can't!!

Anyone know why this should be or how I can fix it please?

Finally solved it! It looks as though ticketmaster has blocked my ip address because I rejected tickets too many times (I was trying to find seats where children would be able to see).

I know that ticketmaster has started to block your access for a few minutes if you refresh the page too many times during a busy period, but apparently if you throw too many tickets back it blocks you for 24 hours as they think you're some kind of ticket programme!!

You could force change ur IP addy....
It worked for me...

I am on virgin media and the turning off and back on of the modem didnt work..

I had to use the command prompt route...
