sorry, this has nothing to do with DFW but I am just watching the news in tears, after hearing about those 2 poor babies being stabbed today by their mum and they have just shown a photo of little Baby P with his face blanked out who was tortured to death, his mop of blonde hair reminds me so much of my 5 year old little boy and it has completely crushed me, so much I have just been upstairs to my 2 sleeping angels to give them a huge kiss and hug
Sometimes I get too obsessed over our debts and how much we owe and its seeing things like this that being it home to me what's important, my family and my babies, I need to chill and lighten up I think and stop getting so stressed about money, it's only money after all, there are much much worse things going on in this world

Oh Millie, I hope your hug with your little ones has made you feel better.
You are right, there is more to life than debt, and certainly more to life than what money can buy.
Thank you for making me glad I never watch the news....

Well said milliemonster, you have hit the nail on the head.
It is good to get a reality check sometimes and realise that debt and money are not so important in the grand scheme of things.
I'm watching the news too, very depressing tonight.DMP Support Thread Member 238

Millie, I'm upset too about Baby P and know exactly how you feel. I'm glad I missed the photo on the news tonight - that would have been too much for me. The poor bloody kid.

Absolutely heartbreaking stories this week and the other one was the baby left at the hospital...The news is getting so depressing and how anyone can do those things to innocents is beyond belief. This is such a sick and violent world.0

You are right - thos poor kids - it makes you think about what is important.
Do remember thought the thousands and thousands of good people out there.
People helping each other on this board, wonderful people who give time tirelessly for others, wonderful people who adopt and foster - there are lots more of the good people out there than the bad, we just don't hear so much about itBack to comping! July wins: Frylight August wins: Pixar DVD, Diesel Watch,£75 hamper brioche products September wins bath soak
Thanks to everyone who posts comps and help :beer:0 -
The most moving thing I've seen all week was the 3 old men at the Cenotaph and the 112 yr old desperately wanting to stand and lay the wreath for his fallen comrades but being unable to.
Thankfully anything involving kids doesn't affect me, but I've found this week quite moving hearing about the men who died in World War I especially.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0
