Microwaving pasta?

Hello!
I am cookerless while my kitchen is being fitted and have a craving (yes, I'm pregant), for tuna pasta tonight.
However, with a microwave as my only tool, is this out of the question?
I know I can cook rice and cous cous, but pasta?
I''d appreciate your advice!

Pasta is dead easy in a microwave - plus money saving as it saves electricity
.
Just put however much pasta you want into a microwaveable bowl then cover with boiling water from the kettle (add about an inch on top as the pasta expands when cooked). Then simply put in the microwave - I usually do 5 mins for 250g or 7 mins for 500g at 900W (full power).
Once it's finished in the microwave, cover with a plate and leave for about 7-8 minutes then check to see if it's soft enough for you. Drain, add tuna and sauce, and enjoy! :j0 -
I followed your instructions and it was perfect!!

No problem at all, glad you got the meal you wanted
. Hope they finish fitting your kitchen soon! 0
