    about 1000 a week.
    - how much time does that take?

I have never gone for competitions bc I don't want junk mail and also bc writing out my address zillions of times doesn't appeal to me...but maybe I am mistaken and this is not the case?

you can use roboform as mattitun says and make sure you make a separate email such as hotmail just used for comps.
i only do them in the mornings and not at a weekends, unless i see a good one on the telly, otherwise i would be doing them too often. lol.
    positive thoughts give positive outcome.
:A good luck to all of you. xx
  • 2000 competitions is not a lot to have entered since August. I would say I enter 1000 a week too. I go through phases, some months I have more energy and time to do more, sometimes less.
I would say for me the odds of winning are 1 to every 1000 comps. I have to put a LOT of time in to win the prizes. In the past few months I have spent on average 4 hours a day entering competitions. The difference that has made has been very noticeable.
There are a lot of people entering for prizes and numerous comping sites that list the same prizes too.

Go for the smaller prizes, like books and cds as they have less people entering.

Good luck, keep at it and try to enter more.

Dont get disheartened, I have been comping since July and I must admit I have had won 2/3 comps per month but mostly they have been very small wins! I always tend to win something just when I think I need a break from it and it spurs me on, maybe your first win is just around the corner!!

You just open up a separate email addy from your personal one. I just go into it every day and delete/tidy it up and obviously see if I have won anything. And as said previously, download roboform - saves you having to fill in your details each time. :)

Ive been entering competitions since mid August. I have entered probably 2000 competitions and to date won nothing. And yet i keep seeing people posting "3 wins today" or "5th this week!"

Its luck of the draw really, I started in Feb and did really well the first couple of months, I won a trip to China and did well on the first Snap comp, but since then, nothing much really, though I am grateful for any win, but you have to do it for fun, and not expect to win...then its a lovely surprise when you do. :D

I just think that if good luck's not forthcoming then hopefully I won't have any luck at all (ie bad luck!)
