Ooh, wish I'd known about that voucher yesterday when I bought a bottle for my hubby........Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.0 -

Thanks for posting!
So sorry to be a pedant, but as a good scot I just have to point out that Scotch Whisky has no "e" in it...that spelling is reserved for the Irish offering
Hope you don't mind megetting that off my chest, enjoy the Glenlivet - cheers...0 -
Brill - a bottle of decent Single malt for £13.99 with the voucher. I'm going back there again tomorrow, using another voucher in mystic_megs name!
Thanks again0 -

hi
, i bought it Tesco for £22, a few weeks ago.. I also bought Lapraig and Balverdine 23.00, came in a total of 60,50 , the Balverdine should have been £30 and the Laphraig was showing 15.48 but came up at 22.00 on the till, the superviser informed that the 'offer has expired but would let me have it at 15.48, bargain the lot should have cost 85 quid!
love a bargain me.xx0 -

Yes well spotted - it's not my literacy that's at fault, but rather my toddler who managed to break my keyboard yesterday! The spacebar is still not working, and he has also managed to transpose the m and n keys, so it could have been so much worse than a missing space...
Anyway, thanks again to the original poster for sharing, I don't make a point of correcting other people as a rule but do feel that it's a point of honour with the whisky / whiskey thing. I hope you understand, cheers :beer:0 -

I promise you that I wasn't trying to make anyone look stupid: I am not in the habit of correcting people on the whole, since if people are good enough to take the time to post here I would prefer to value their contribution in a positive way.
I tried to make my point in a good-natured way, and I do apologize if that didn't come across as I'd hoped. I am grateful to the op for sharing their bargain, and will be going shopping at Somerfield myself over the weekend.
I do hope that I haven't hijacked the thread with this, it certainly wasn't my intention.0
