I wanna v. good quality carpet for stairs in the SALE. Have only seen cheapish quality carpets in the sale. Must be some somewhere eg Axminster. Anyone know of any anywhere pls??

Me too - in fact I'd like a good old fashioned runner, but haven't seen them anywhere.

Have just found a really good source on of all places e bay! Just type in stair carpet into the search. Shop called runners, rods and ?, but it comes up in the search. Beats all my local sale prices including the sales. Would still be interested in any other sources but really worth the look.
