Calling all Morphy Rich 48268 b/m owners

I received a Morphy Richards 48268 breadmaker for xmas.
Today i thought i would try it out.
I followed the instructions to cook oil in in for 10mins.
I then whipped up some madera cake mix. Put it in the baking tin. Closed the lid and turned to the controls. Looking at the controls it still had program 12 and 0:00 on the screen. None of the buttons would work.
I turned off the b/m and on again and still the same?
Ive turned it off now and am leaving it to cool right down. Anyone got any ideas?

I think you press and hold the start button till it beeps, that resets it to programme one again.

Just received this one for Christmas too - you lot persuaded me!!
Today I've baked one white large loaf - Mmmmmmm Scrumptious!!! And for tea, we've just had home made Pizza! Double Mmmmmmmm!!!!
My son, the biggest ever fuss pot when it comes to food asked for second helpings!!!!!!!! I tried not to do cartwheels in my excitement!!! They said can we have this again! ARGHHHH! I'm so happy!!!!!
