How long did it stop for the creditors to stop chasing for money?

Hi Everyone

I was just wondering how long did it take for the people who you owe money to, to stop chasing you and what did you do.

I was only made bankrupt on the 27 October 2008 (so I guess early days for me).

I look forward to hearing your replies, experiences, etc.

I was made bankrupt the week before you but my only missed payments were due the day before I went BR.. so I got one phone call the following week from Egg and informed them then that was it. I had lots of letters until they were all informed but I just filed thm away. Havent had anything for a good week now.

So Im guessing as soon as your OR has informed them all that you are now BR the chasing Should stop!

Hi AGB135,

My OH and I were made BR on the 29/11 and the following day I rang all our creditors (4 altogether) gave then our BR details and we haven't heard a peep out of any of them since.
