I wanna return freeview box to asda

Bought one for my dad only to find my mum had bought one with nectar points...doh

can't find receipt to return it...what is their police pls?

What brand is it?

Some brands are only sold by Asda so those you should be able to return on the basis you couldn't have got it anywhere else. (Pacific, Schneider and Durabrand AFAIK).

Without a receipt you will usually only be given the lowest price it sold at in the last x number of months (as they don't know how much you paid).

Our local ASDA store has always been 100% brilliant with returns.
Never any hassle... even without a receipt.

Not sure if that's usual with all ASDA stores though.

I should probably add, now that this has turned into a "let's praise Asda's customer services" thread, that when we returned a 6 month old DVD player that was making a funny noise they replaced it on the spot, renewed the warranty and gave us a £10 refund as the price had since dropped :T.
