What is best value iPoints payment?

Hi,

With all the offers on ipoints.co.uk and all the offers iPoints are bombarding me with (to spend my points), can anyone tell me which are the best value?

I'd like to get the 'best bang for my buck', so to speak, preferably as cash, Amazon vouchers or 'High Street' vouchers.

I have 11,000 points.

Ta.

  • I have never played so much bingo in my life :rotfl:

Some of these sign-up offers with the bingo sites have been great.
I usually just opt for the £30 Marks and Spencers vouchers, 7400 ipoints.
I can use them on clothes, food or drink.

I have 4500 points- you must be going for every offer going - I have been a member for years to get my 4500 points!

I looked at the offers, I worked out the most expensive shopping spree at the end was the best value for money/value for points, but its soooo expensive you may be saving for decades!

sent it vouchers are only 6150 points for £30 never used them but says DVDs, Electronics and Games
i usually get leisure vouchers at 6900 points for £30 and use at pizza hut although used last lot at halfords towards DS go kart for his birthday, these seem to be the best "value for money" ie more cash for your points but i guess it depends on what you want

think this list is upto date (i posted it as while ago and haven't checked lately)
    £30 send it = 6150
    £30 Leisure = 6900
    £30 Currys = 7100
    £30 Debenhams = 7200
    £30 M&S = 7400
    £30 Boots = 7500
    £30 Amazon = 8000
    £30 Woolworths = 8300

I've been having a quick loook around a few of teh rewards partners and it really does make a difference what you are planning on spending your vouchers on!

    For example:
Indiana Jones Crystal Skull dvd- Amazon: £12.48 Sendit: £14.89

Iron Man dvd- Amazon: £9.98 Sendit: £12.89

Little Big Planet ps3- Amazon: £37.97 Sendit: £37.89

Guinness Word Records 2009- Amazon £9.99 Sendit: £14.89

Big Book of Top Gear (written by the super-cool Richard Porter!:D)- Amazon: £5.00 Sendit: £10.89.

So, even though Amazon costs more iPoints, it gives better value on (most) purchases.
Perhaps someone with much better maths skills than me could work out how much better.

It's definately worth thinking about what you're buying before you cash in your iPoints as if you were buying something like Little Big Planet (ps3) then you get a much better deal on Sendit as it costs you only 6150 ipoints for a voucher compared with Amazons whopping (and recently inflated:mad:) 8000 ipoints.
  • I have 5,000 points on ipoints and am going for n m and s voucher for christmas if I can get the points. Mind you I have been using ipoints for just over a month, but I seem to get a lot of clickthroughs and surveys. Stick with it. I would probably go for amazon or m and s. x
Ipoints- Cashed in for prezzybox and amazon items - 1,983 now. £50 Amazon voucher
    Lightspeed - 220 points
    Bzz campaigns - none yet
    Quidco - £6.65 Sealed pot challenge#373
    An avid and proud freecycler.
£45 Foxy bingo from £10 free play
  • I do loads of iPoints surveys too; I like to redeem for pressies instead. :D
  • I usually spend my ipoints on DVD's. You can search for any DVD you want and some are only 2,000 points. Great if like me you want to spend your ipoints without having to wait ages for them to build up.

    Some small changes

    Boots now 7400
    Currys now 7400:eek:
    Debenhams now 7400:eek:
Woolworths 7400  (but probably not advisable at present!! ;) )

Yes, they're e-vouchers. Not delivered instantly though, they usually arrive within a couple of days.
