Options
Did anyone else notice the super print and click offer on the main site for Gourmet burger kitchen 2 for 1 offer???
I thought great i shall have a nice wee lunch to try them out ( we are all aware how expensive Victoria square is to eat in...and shop!) but Nooooooo
EXCLUDES NORTHERN IRELAND

Now if one thing makes me mad.........its exclusion!
I sent an email to them to ask why and to make them aware that they made a right Ba**s up with that fine piece of PR...excluding their newest customers
Are they not aware that Victoria square is going down the tubes-financially speaking-and should be encouraging customers to visit??
Anyway, rant over......if you feel like me,send them am email to let them know!
Thank you!

  • I totally agree with you. Not a very good way to launch a new business in Northern Ireland!

Not quite. I complained to GBK regarding this matter.

GBK in England, Wales and Scotland is ran by a different company to that in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.

Yesterday, I received a 2 for 1 voucher which is able to be used in Victoria Square - I suggest you complain to the company.
  • Yip you are right, seperate franchise-you would think they would have abit more interest in protecting their name even through franchise! Here is the email i got today (which i found quite abrupt!) so i did indeed just contact Mr.Bertram with my complaint!
    Hi

The GBK's that are opening in Ireland are not run by Clapham House Group
(the company which owns GBK) . It is run by a separate company which has
taken out the Master Franchise for the entirety of Ireland.

Please contact George Bertram (Operations Manager ) for more information
regards any offers for customers in NORTHERN IRELAND.

More or less the same email that I received. It was George Bertram that informed me that the offer was being extended to NI and then yesterday emailed me a voucher as well.
  • i noticed this as well - have sent george a wee email :)

  • GBK is worth avoiding. I had a 2-for-1 voucher a while back and it was still £22 for 2 people. My chicken burger wasn't great and when I told the manager he acted like he didn't believe me!! You're not missing much....
