This thread may bore you, the petition may not serve any purpose (in your opinion) and prayer may help those who believe in it- but maybe YOU '' should get a life and get on with it !'' and stick to the many threads on this wonderful site that do interest you. :j :j
Thanks again for your helpful, compassionate and thought provoking comments :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I love those wee smiley dancing jumpy icons Joy, now they are entertaining and more fun than readin depressing stuff. Thanks sis for those :j0 -

re Phil McGee's post
TIME PEOPLE IS A GREAT HEALER ! !
PRAYER IS AN EVEN STRONGER HEALER ! ! ! ! ! !
I DID NOT want to thank Phil for the post above but don't know how to remove my mistake! Perhaps one of you old hands could let me know by private message as i am embarassed to have my name associated with it
The reason can i explain Phil was that I was so distressed by your most unchristian of attitudes, my hand was shaking so much and i pressed the thanks button rather than the desired quote one nearby.
Some of us do pray Phil and one of mine tonight will be that you reserve judgements on others unless you know the whole facts. (But unlike you i do not feel it essential to give you the biblical reference).
I could send you a private message giving you my personal situation which i defy anyone could say deserves your condemnation as you have expressed above, but somehow i doubt if personal stories of pain matter to you .And no smilies from me!
But his site has kept me sane over the past few weeks . I am so grateful for it and the people who contribute. If it is boring to you then i have to agree with the others -- No one is making you read it. You could go and find something you find more interesting!0 -
This guy is simply a troll and is baiting you to see what sort of a reaction he gets. It's better to ignore him than to feed him with angry responses.Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

Hebrews 13:5 . I quote :-
" Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
" please don't come back to me and say its ok for me cause im already very wealthy. That may be true but im still entitled to my opinion,". .

And do not accuse us of being in love with money, we are not in love with money.
But you try going to Tesco's without it.
Or educating a teenager
Or surviving retirement in New Labour Britain.

I think that says it perfectly. I think Phil actually may have been "full" when he was posting. Obvioulsy looking to wind people up.0 -

IF YOU ARE SO WEALTHY WHY NOT SHARE YOUR MONEY OUT WITH THOSE OF US THAT HAVE LOST THEIR LIFE'S SAVINGS - AND THEN MAYBE FOR A WHILE WE CAN MOVE ON FROM THIS.
WE'LL PAY YOU BACK WHEN WE GET OURS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG ! OMG ! OMG !
I feel i am totally misunderstood by initial post and want to apologize to anyone who has been offended by it. I simply wanted to say i was getting bored with all this PMS chat, thats all !
I did not say i was unsympathetic and certainly did not say folks deserved it for not reading the small print or enquiring about guarantees when investing their capital. Others before me have said this, and i believe that that attitude is so cruel.
The reason i say that im so bored of the chat is because Id love to see this situation resolved positively for everyone, and i feel that pointless petitions is not the most productive way to resolve it. It could be sorted so much quicker with other ideas.
Again, apologies peoples, i am on your side in this disgraceful situation that has been permitted to occur.
