Is it just me or is there some irony in a foundation with charitable and christian in their name arguing in court that so many people should be deprived of their savings. I am reminded of the posting from January of the OAP who was unable to heat her home and the undoubted many more like her......good work Pastor Howie and God bless.
Not very charitable or christian !!0 -

800,000 is a lot of money!
.......so is the £20k (or less) which many elderly people invested and struggled to pay their heating bills over the winter!! Sounds like you are this Mr Howie or know him very well.
two things annoy me about this mess:
1. people on here posting misinformation about hearings and legislation
2. people who for years have benefited from the smaller savers having their money in PMS but now deciding to look after themselves.0 -

Is the Howie Christian Charitable Trust connected to the Presbyterian Church?
If not, how can they have money in the PMS?0 -

For that proposed meeting I made preliminary arrangements for the hire of a Presbyterian church hall on Saturday 23 January. The member of Session in charge of bookings came back to me asking for names of the speakers.
This was understandable because I could have been inviting Muslim cleric
Anjam Choudary of Wootton Bassett fame.
Seriously, because of the pending High Court hearing I considered it best to postpone the event to a later date.0 -

Looks like another new moderator will be in place mid year with no end in sight for the savers. Very good set up by PCI - rotate the moderators so quickly that they can neither achieve anything or be held accountable for anything.0 -
