Guys, i need a wireless router, but i also need it to be able to connect to my xbox and dreambox which both have ether net ports downstairs.

any ideas please

Well, we've got a Belkin unit that seems to work OK.
It's got a USB connection, 5 ethernet sockets, two aerials and a ADSL socket.

Do you get broadband over a BT line or via a cable provider.

Different routers are needed.

The ADSL over BT line have a modem included in the router but as cable companies provide a modem with the service you just need a router without a modem.

The connectors on the back for the input are different and cannot be swapped between.

Do you currently have broadband? if so how long have you had? I had BT for 14 months, phoned them up and said I want to cancel my BB. They asked me why, and I said I was swapping to wannado because they were offering a free wireless router, a desktop and laoptop wireless card. BT sent me their equivilent for free.
