  • Hi,

I just bought one the other day and am very impressed thus far.

I can directly compare the Bifinett with a Gaggia we still have and would say that the design of the BIFINETT is superior in that the reservoir is easier to fill and the drip tray is easier to empty.

I've tried some different coffees in the Bifinett and so far so good they are excellent both as espressos and cappuccinos. Again, the Bifinett is versatile in that it comes with a single and a double measure stainless steel filter which takes both ground coffee and ESE pods (haven't tried the pods yet) plus the steam frother works well.

For the price,an excellent buy, especially considering the price of the Gaggia.

Just a general comment on BIFINETT brand: I find the products very good quality........i bought the breadmaker and the hand blender (with chopping thing & whisk. The blender was only £10 and is comparable to the more expensive brands that cost £30+ as it has a stainless steel stick bit and not plastic. The breadmaker was £25, which is probably as cheap as they come, its still going strong. Will take a look at the coffee maker

It was £34.99 in my Lidl.
I have just bought one and it seems easy to use.
  • Thanks for your replies!

Bought the espresso machine at the weekend and definitely was impressed. Used the pods (they are so handy for infrequent coffee drinkers) and have been drinking cappuccinos all weekend.

    I really recommend this product!

I looked for it also and could not find it. I think sometimes, items available vary from region to region,as to view the offers online, you have to put your local store so think not all the items are available across the country.
OFF TOPIC but still Lidl's: Last week I bought the car seat covers from Lidl at £11.99. Fantastic value - front seats, back seats (come apart with zip) + 5 headrest covers. Did anyone get the car stereo for £40, its was the can put in memory card.

There are two lidls near me, the first one didn't have any and the second one had four. Both shops had a large display of variety of electrical items.
I don't know if it was an offer as I read it here and went and bought one.
  • The machine is actually made by DeLonghi, there's evidence in the manual. I bought one to replace my original Delonghi Cafe Treviso, which although similar spec (15 bar but more expensive) didn't produce as much steam pressure as the "Bifinet". An excellent buy.
  • My wife surprised me by buying the machine today; I just tried the espresso and..... the taste is awesome (even when using lidl coffee ;-)
    3 years of guarantee!!!
My intention was to buy a 'real' one which costs around 1000 euros. However I stick to this biffinet/delonghi machine.

I think I saw the offer earlier in Lidl. Probably the same offers are repeated say once or twice in a year...

    Highly recommended

Will post again when capucinno has been tried out
