I want one to pursue my love of eating raw foods.
Excalibur ones seem to be the most popular, starting about £175 - £219.
Any body else any ideas of cheaper ones?
Thanks
Oh! and I also want the cheapest vita-mix blender I can find (in my dreams :rotfl: )....

We've got a Stockli Dehydrator, which DH and I are really happy with and just a quick scout round they seem to start about £850

I've thanked you.
Thanks again!0 -
Have a look on the vitamix website. It has a list of where they are taking stands at trade shows, including the yoga show, good food show etc. Try to find a free ticket to your nearest show, & you should be able to buy it a little cheaper there.0

Good idea, Sooz, thanks.
Helzbelz, do you put the food directly on the mesh tray? I'm thinking about mushy mixes like flax crackers etc.
I found the Stockli site, and the prices are really good, thanks again.0 -
It depends what I'm making things like dried apple rings or beef jerky go straight onto the trays, but if I'm making fruit leathers I put it on silicon paper first0
