Parmesean cheese baskets

Merry Christmas to all.
I want to make some parmesean cheese baskets but unsure what would work as a filler for them as the parmesean is quite a strong flavour. Any advice out there as a quick and easy filler. I was thinking of soured cream and smoked salmon Any other ideas gratefully received.

You could fill them with a meat and bechamel (thick white sauce) mix, or meat and mushrooms, or a mix of ricotta cheese, sauteed peas and mushrooms for vegetarians (all my mum's suggestions!).
