I worked in a Cash Converters.
DVD players are just a disposable item these days, it's a sad fact, but new ones from supermarkets can be bought for just over £10.
I used to take them in for fiver, buff them up, get a couple of old DVDs and sell the bundle for £10. We did get flooded with them, with about 15 a day coming up for sale!
DVDs are difficult, with today 20mb broadband connection, folks rather download something, than fork out a lot for a DVD, I used to pay 50p - £2, as some of the DVDs coming in where given away free in Sunday papers!
You are right there as some very bad buyers, who havn't got a clue how to deal with customers!0 -

Aparently they don't sell multimedia headsets; shame as I have a new pair in packaging I was given that I don't want. I can't sell on eBay as I can't get a Paypal account due to a bad credit rating etc whichI am trying to get sorted.
Do you need a paypal account to sell on ebay now? Can't you just accept cheque/postal orders? or get a friend with a paypal account to help you out?
failing that - try selling them in the local paper? Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Yey!! YIPPEE!!0 -
no in order to use ebay now as a seller, you HAVE to offer paypal as a payment option.
