What is a credit score, and how do they work, and what use to they have.
I just paid £5.95 on Experian to find out my credit score is:
Your Experian Credit Score was
0
On November 11, 2008
then it says:
Factors that are having a negative effect on your score
Factors that are having a positive effect on your score

Factors that are having a negative effect on your score
- You have some late or missed repayments
- You have made three or more applications for credit in the past six months
- You have several credit agreements (excluding mortgages), and the outstanding balance is high
Factors that are having a positive effect on your score
- You are on the electoral roll (registered to vote) at your current address
- You don't have any county court judgments and you have not been declared bankrupt in the last six years

Hi both
The score doesn't really mean too much as each lender calculates based on their own criteria.
That said the zero seems a bit odd, have you got any debts on there at all?? is everything else showing that should be?£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

A 0 is very weird! Suggest calling Credit Expert on the freephone number under the 'contact us' part of their website.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0
