PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, before I lose all my sanity at work...!!!!
Remember that the free gift card offer is limited to one per transaction, ie:
If you spend £600 you will get a £10 gift card, NOT a £60 or x6 £10 cards!
This cannot be overidden by Argos staff as it is set in the terms and conditions of the offer.
Mini rant/reminder over

I love working for Argos, it's a fantastic company to work for, but when these gift card offers come out they can make life that little bit harder [DISCLAIMER: Any posts made by myself are my opinions and do not represent my employer]

We get a lady come in every xmas who spends £2000 on raffle prizes and insists on splitting it all up so she ends up with nearly £200 in vouchers! I hate it cos it takes over an hour to serve her, but i suppose it makes for good customer service!0

Just noticed on the Terms and Conditions point 11 it states :-
This offer is not available with the purchase of Argos gift cards
I have never noticed that before as we always give when they purchase vouchers just not when they buy vouchers with vouchers as the sytems does not allow this, even a member of staff buys her vouchers for gifts when this is on so that she gets something for herself aswell.
Any other Argos workers ever noticed this or adhere to it ?0 -
my last purchase in Argos the cashier 'forgot' to give me my £10 card until I asked for it.. I guess it didn't jog his memory the 200 odd blank cards sat in front of his keyboard. From where I was stood I could see his screen so I think he was just going to give himself the free £10 cards when the customer walked off!
Not really impressed lol0 -
I bought a PS3 when they were £360 the other year from Argos with Fifa 08 and a few other games which were thrown in.
I just went up to the till 3 times to buy £100 worth of vouchers each time, and got 3 £10 voouchers.
So got it for £330 in the end!
Shame they have stopped it!0
