Ermmmmmmmmmmmm winter wonderland, plenty of fake snow is a must. I make a snowman out of a few sheets a laundry basket and a mixing bowl and a few other bits. I will try to find a picture.
How about some fresh holly on window sills and stuff. I will have a think and see what I come up with. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -

Window sills, on windows just be carefull putting it on windows it can be tricky to get off. Also in places like poundstretcher you can get fake material type snow, kinda like cotton wool that you could place on the floors, people would have to take their shoes off though. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0

I've just asked a similar question regarding cheap decorations for xmas. I'm sure if you click on my user name it'll take you to it under my posts.
Also, when I was at uni my mates had an ice themed party and they stuck tinfoil on one of the walls like wall paper. It looked really good! Just use blutac!House saving Targets:

get loads and loads of cheap baloons from somewhere like wilkinsons / poundland then hang them from the ceiling from cotton threads.
You can make great paper snowflakes by folding sheets of paper into six and then cutting bits out of the creased edges, cover the windows, hang them from the ceiling...
buy crepe paper and cut into long streamers (whilst still rolled up) and make a dangly screen as you go through the doorways.
Pick a colour scheme, either go for all white, red and green or multicolours.
get out the cristmas lights. Just be careful with all the paper around that you don't have candles or you may set the palce on fire!0 -
Cut out some snowman shapes from large sheets of corrugatedcardboard (I get mine from the skips at supermarkets or industrial estates) paint them white then add featutes in poster paint or felt tip pens, then add some glitter, use to decorate the walls. you can also do Christmas trees, robins, stars, igloos, angels, father christmas, elves, fireplace etc in this way (some need a bit more artistic flair than others, but perhaps you have arty friends who can help).
balls of cotton wooll for snowballs, white sheets draped over the furniture, white cushion covers, frosted rims on drinking glasses, lots of silver or white tinsel, white twinkly lights, collect some fir cones and spray them silver/white, also branches of trees or fir trees
I'd try and keep the colour theme to white, blue and silver if you want a snowy theme, go for red green and gold for something more colourful
mind you everyone's winter wonderland is different0 -
You definately want some white fairy lights. Put around the room and turn the lights off. They look so pretty. You can pick these up pretty cheaply at the moment - i think Tesco have them at quite a good price.
You could also get some branches and spray them with fake snow or white paint and put them all around and hang some little decorations off them. They always look so pretty. We have them at Easter. xxx0 -
A shop for really good prices & a good range of xmas decorations is In Store (also known as poundstrechers). Hope this is of use!0
