oh carp!!!!!! I've just been sorting through Thomas's school bag & I've just found a note saying he needs to go to school dressed as a character from a book - this tuesday!!

Looks like I'm tramming off to Matalan tomorrow then! :rolleyes:

we had that when it was book day rcb, lots to choose from really, most popular with kids would be harry potter but depends on the age i think, any ideas yet?

Rcb, evan went as a butcher, with a striped apron and a straw hat and a drawn on moustache. i put a sign on him saying" The _ _ _ _ _ _, the baker and the candle stick maker, which one am I ? xxxx

I have been a little bit miffed with his school tbh - they have done naff all for Children In Need, but want money off us on an almost weekly basis for the school.

I was expecting some kind of fancy dress day or something for Children In Need, but they haven't even so much as mentioned it!!

DD school was off for teacher training day on CIN day, rumours are they have timed it for the same day on purpose which is sad really

our school is the same, they dont do any charity stuff unless they are raising money for themselves, nothing for children in need, did wonder if i should ask about world diabetes day but knew what the answer would have been so didnt bother:rolleyes:
