And don't worry - it doesn't make you unpopular - welcome to the Compers Inn.
And to you Chris - a little ditty for you:
'I'm the real chris
yes I'm the real chris...
... won't the real chris please stand up, please stand up, please stand up'

OMG! I'm so glad I'm not the only one that thought that!! I've been singing it ever since Chris posted :rotfl:That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free0 -
he he he.. I am into this kidnapping lark now too !!
I so should be doing comps, you lot are a bad influence !!!Thanks to all posters and contributers :beer:0 -
I don't usually post on here (too shy) but read it constantly - I unfortunately have had to sell some great comp wins that I have received - but that is so that hubbie and I can eat and actually survive a month!!!! Hopefully now that we have, sadly, sold our house and are living in rented accommodation we can get to keep any prizes we win.
Even though, I am very careful about what I enter and do still get annoyed (probably completely unjustly) when people enter competitions for something they have no interest in - even though a lot of the time the posts are for runners up prizes.
I have also been extremely lucky that I won tickets for a concert that there is no way we could have afforded at the time - but it was our first evening out in 4 years and we had such a brilliant time (even if we did have to find the £8 for parking).
I really don't want to sound like I am having a go, but there are so many different reasons for what each person decides to do with their prizes. As long as it is a great community and everyone is in the majority happy with their experience, is that not a good outcome? Quite often it is a case of ignoring what other people are doing and considering what you want out of the experience :-)
