Can anyone advise me.....

I got a call from Debenhams today that theyre gonna call me for a phone interview tomorrow; why a telephone one? Never heard of this before unless it's like you're hundreds of miles away and wanting to move to taht city or something and seeking a job there. What sort of things would they be asking? At least I can do it in my PJs and not comb my hair.

FE ~ Jamie had a phone interview for the bank and lasted about 30 mins. They go over everything and its 1st step to seeing whether your suitable or not, in a cheaper way :rolleyes: Don't know what your's be like though, but good luck xxx

I don't have a TV so am waiting for CW to come up on BBC iPlayer. Currently comping like mad and listing books on Play.com to sell as I just splashed out my Birthday money on Ugg boots; ASOS has 20% off til Friday.

I used to work for the RBS Group (albeit as HR for direct Line - but they're owned by RBS Group) and the recruitment procedures were this:

1 telephone screening (to assess eligibility for the role - they have a tick sheet with the questions & if you score a certain amount of points you get through to the next stage)

2 face to face interview - you may also get a written test & mock telephone call to do at this stage (depending on the job role you're applying for)

3 2nd interview where necessary (HR may be involved)


Having said that though, they were the processes when I was there nearly 6 years ago so I daresay they'll have changed.

i won a signed robots book with flashing eyes it was to good 4 kids as they would have spoilt it i was thing 15 quid on ebay but it went for 45 omg
