Been reading some useful articles on how to negotiate on rent prices by the way; I don't think I should post the link here out of respect for Martin and MSE, but if anyone's interested, PM me and I'll tell you where I got it. It's another site which sends emails. It's good for general financial articles but this is still my home.

Gert, if they cannot or will not give you an advance, whether or not you've been on benefits you can get a budgeting loan or a crisis loan from the job centre. HTH.0

Can you guys help? Jamie is desperate for a Kurt Cobain style red and black striped jumper like this . I can't find a british stockist and I can only use a solo card and obviously I don't want to pay a fortune for it. Me thinks I'll have to get the knitting needles out !!!!
