Hi,
Looking for a little advice here.
Im looking to buy a sofa at furniture village. I just went through the application and I wanted the 0% credit. Its not an expensive one dont worry. One of there pages ( they use someone called hitachi consumer credit? ) also want to include my partner on the application regardless of whether I want to include them.
Now she is a declared bankrupt from 2005 whilst with me. Nearly 20k notched up. This was way before we got together and had a little one.
Now if I fill this form in I suspect I will get rejected on 'financial association' even though I have lived here 11 years and have a near perfect credit history I hope. Over the last 6 months I've had about 4 new credit cards ( just for the cashback etc/offers and they are paid up in full ) Also just changed banks to get the £100 opening offers.
Do you think I will get refused then Im stuck with a blot on my record for a long time.
Cheers

doing it online I already got anoth 10% off, saved £80 so that would probably be the haggle...
Theres no option to ignore yuor partner on the site...it reads something like 'if you have a partner do you have permission to for us to check their credit status yes/no' if you tick no you cant proceed.
Unfortunatly too late to stick on a 5% cashback AE card.
Oh well looks like will have to buy it cash....that will just kill my matchbetting pot.
As for the pyramid scheme advice.......lovely jubbly! :rotfl:0
