Mincemeat

Its a bit late now, but some mincemeat tends to be a bit ruuny, if this is the case, get a packet of value mixed fruit from Tesco, empty the jar/s into a bowl and add enough of the mixed fruit to thicken up the mince meat, I add about 1 1/2 teasppons of mixed spice as well........ if you can cover the bowl and leave for 24 hours. This will also help to stop the mincemeat boiling over as the liquid is taken up by the fruit.
