Online survey/additional income - Help to get started

Hi Guys, I've been trawling the threads and although there is a lot of useful information regarding what people are doing in terms of surveys etc, and how they have managed to earn from this, there is not a lot of info for someone like me, a newbie.

Having tried the usual avenues to look for suitable sites, I see a lot of dodgy looking sites that ask you for money up front etc, so I would assume these are scams.

Therefore, this thread a cry for help, I would like some genuine comments and in particular some websites that I may check out/register with that offer this kind of work.

So, to keep this thread within the nature it is intended, can you only post replies that will give me the following information,

• The Website URL
• The Nature of work required
• Registration process
• One or two helpful hints.
