Hi,

Has anyone ever come across those signs posted on lampposts that claim you "Earn £££ from Home" similar stuff? Has anyone done any of those jobs and earned extra cash?

It always seems to be a bit dodgy !!

That's because it is always a bit dodgy. These are the same scams that are on the internet, except they have been on lamp posts and in newsagents windows for decades.

Earn £100's addressing envelope, just send us £60 to cover the registration fee and sample pack we will send you. Except your handwriting will never be good enough for them and you won't get your money back.

Earn £100's stuffing envelopes, except the only envelopes you will stuff is information for those who have seen the ads you post on lamp post.

Basically they fall into two catagories. Earn money by taking money off other people who want to earn money, and telling them to do what you are doing in exchange. Or making things that will never be good enough, so you will never get paid and never get your registration fee back.

Stay well clear of them.
